System edited: I had the modded Raysonic 128 which was very nice sounding.I then had a chance to hear the Kora and it was not a hard choice to go with it. Staging was bigger and deeper while also being more natural sounding as well as detailed with a true beauty to the music tonally and realism.

System edited: Have had some extremely good cdp's in my system to either try or owned in the last two years and none sounded so right as this player. Gabriel Gold cables just keep getting better so as they do I will keep trying them and buying. So natural sounding and affordable and bettered much more expensive cabling.

System edited: My friend brought over the Krell and surprized me,him and my cousin as to how it outperformed my Stibbert. Gabriel Gold wires are just great.

Hi Bob,
Very nice and keep it simple system.
I have seen that you have the new tubed improved Stibbert and also I have read that you tried before the koala.
Some say that the sound between the 2 units is very similar?
What is your experience with the koala and the stibbert?
What are the main differences?

Also, I would like to know if the Stibbert could be defined as a more solid state or tube sound?
Finally, Does the Stibbert has a digital volume that allows for direct amp connection? You use it without a pre, right?
Thanks for your time

Hi Bob, I haven't heard of Gabriel Gold interconnects before. Does the "Gabriel" refer to Pierre Gabriel? Does the manufacturer have a website? It is impressive that the cable has replaced your Stealth Indra, because for many audiophiles the Indra is the best of the best, a cable that uses the holy grail of cable technology, namely amorphous metal.
PS: Are the Eight Nerve units also effective when you have an excess of bass in the listening room due to prolonged reverberation times?

Its interesting that no one so far on this thread has the exp of both the DK and Boulder which I hope was the original intent/question in the first place.
