Description

My system is as simple as it gets. It consists of a digital front end with a built-in volume control, two mono-block amps and speakers. That's it!

The front end is a APL Denon 3910 with a built-in volume control that I run directly into my Nuforce Ref. 9 V2 monoblocks. My speakers are Von Schweikert VR4jr.

I have several tweaks including footers, damping plates and a Audience Adept Response power conditioner that I run all the components from.

I am VERY happy with the sound of the system at this point. However, the areas I would like to explore upgrading first are: 1) Speakers, and 2) Power Amps.

By the way, the synergy between the APL Denon 3910 with a tube output stage and the Nuforce amps is truly magical. You have to hear it to believe it.
