Pic 6 is have my system is today, majik ds into klimax kontrol into solos on sra vr series platforms . The emotion and musicality this system is producing is beoynd words.
Pinkus no force on earth could remove the solos from my system, but im surthen the Nagras are amazing ;)
Regarding the SRA`S under the solos i have been a/b testing for several days now to the point of insanity an i must admit that the difference is very very subbel. Havever im slowly comming to the conclusion that the sound is fuller, and bass is tiny bit better or different, and as much as i dont like to admit it system looked better without them.
I have tested alot of cabels but whenever i used linn cabels through out everything just sounded right. PS the speaker cabel is k400 wich have been splid into two and terminated for singel wire application. The solos are with neutrik speakons but the k400 differently sounds better then my kimber 8tc anniversario cabels.
Nice, clean system with great equipment and, like Pinkus alluded to, the layout is well thought out.
IMO the Linns Solos look nicer without the isolation platform (in the picture labeled "system"); however, I realise that this may not be best soundwise.
