My Almost all Tube system is designed for Music ,both 2 channel and surround.Movies are secondary though sound very good.No subwoofer for explosions here.My DVD collection is 95% concerts.My Tastes in Music is Progressive Rock,Electronic,Psychedelic,Blues Rock that Jams,Blues,Jazz and more and more classicial.My system is very revealing of the source material with a natural sounding presentation on shiny disc's[About 1500] and analog[I'm weak here needing to upgrade my TT badly]1400 LP's.A bit confused on Type of TT for my taste,suspended or non suspended[need more bass].The Black Round disc's STILL sound the best though my CDP is closing in,especially SACD's.Thanks to the many folks on Audiogon and AA that take their time to post their impressions,advice and reccommendations.A treasure trove of information.Most of my system was purchased here .Thanks for your hand me downs.Ha!Any thoughts appreciated!From a 58 year young guy.Thanks and Rock on!! 2 Channel SACD/CD 6922 Tubed Varible Output to True XLR or SE jacks.NO Op amps in output stage.Remote and headphone jack.Superb powerfull Airy accurate CDP for CD's and SACD.Absolutely Stunning! I need to post a review on this.Sounds great direct to amp.Huge tordial transformer and Beautiful build quality.Should be priced in the 4K range IMHO.I took a chance with 30 day return policy.Was considering an XA777es but didn't want to tie up my analog inputs on my processer in case of future DVD/SACD surround advancements in technology[HD DVD discs etc].UPDATE ! It recently spent a few days with Dan Wright in his Magic Shop and is now at an ultra high operating Level.Ask him his opinion.Under $1700 total invested and sounds like a solid 4k player.My choice over stock XA777es and SCD-1,Shanlings,Ayre cx-7's at their price point for 2 channel. playback.
