Hififile, what is the frequency you are using for the crossover on the subs ?
I have a rel Strata V pair with my TSMS. get great bass at 28Hz and good mids a 35Hz ! still trying to dial them in the right way

System edited: The best addition to my system was the Sony CD/SACD XA5400ES. It is noticeably better than the McIntosh. Better defined bass, floats an image so the speakers completely disappear. I still use the McIntosh to play DVD audio.

I was thinking of trying the Mcintosh C2300 and MC402 set up with the new Magnepan 1.7s. Did you like these amps with the Maggies you have or had?

You know - you don't really own McIntosh equipment, you just watch it for future generations to enjoy.

Nice rack ;)

A system nice enough to last a lifetime, great gig. Happy listening.

Nice System! I was also on the merry go round until I purchased my VSMs. How would you describe the sound of the merlin-mac combo? Thanks

How do you like the McIntosh CD player? Great system by the way.
