My Listening/Living Room is 6.2m long, 5m wide, 3.5m high in a very old Building with wooden floor. Room is lightly "tuned" with some DIY Absorbers made by John Risch's Recipee and 4 DIY "cushions" In the upper corner's (similar to "Michael Green Roomtunes"). Have done measurements of the "Room Modes" (resonant frequencies) of the Room with a Pro ($1000) Digital Sound Level Meter and some work on the Acoustics of the Room is still to be done (Bass Traps, etc).

Oh, by the way i am a great Fan of DIY-ing...

Thanks for the response.
Of course, I would like You to send me sugestions/plans for improving the Acoustics of the Listeneig Room. I've just updated "My System" here at Audiogon so You can see that, in the meantime, I've built Acoustic Panel's by John Riesch's Recipee. But Idea's and suggestions are always welcome!

How right you are! DIY is a great to get the best out of your music / equipment!
You wrote that you DIY your own Roomtunes.
What about building your own 48" Floorstanding RoomTunes or even Pressure Zone Controllers (PZC)?
Just let me know it you'd like to receive some pictures of them which show you how to build them yourself.
Believe me; they're quite simple to build;
a wooden frame with R13 isolation in it, covered in cloth,
screwed to a ground plate. That's all!

I'd be happy to provide them! :-)
