Like all that have gone before me, my system is a work in progress. The first system was a Sony intergraded pre/amp with a pioneer DVD multi disk player then moved to discrete components, Sony 9000ES pre/pro, amp, dvd player, driving advent full range speakers but not enought base for the new HD movies so purchased KLH 4 ways with 15in woofers to build out a 5.1 system. Needed to add a second Sony amp to drive the back speakers leaving the fronts with enough wattage to drive them properly, what a difference the second amp made, opened up my little world to a new sonic level of detail never heard before. At this point this is where my addiction started, I wanted mooore.
The pic's are of my first truly high-end system using Rotel components which shows how these high-end system can bring out the detail and the depth not heard with low end consumer gear.
Replaced the Rotel RDV-1092 with the Sony BDP-CX7000ES Blu-ray 400 disk changer. This 1080p progressive scan blu-ray player with a built-in scaler and HDMI output has given the very best picture quality I have seen since I purchased the Rotel. The Sony finally got the message and produce an exceptional player that can up scale standard DVD disks to blu-ray quality so I don't have to replace my collection of DVD's.
Anthem D1 upgraded to D2 HDMI
Resolution, depth and much better detail are what I find the Anthem has over the Rotel RSP-1066 and my first real pre-pro a Sony TA-E9000ES.
Rotel RB-1090
There're two Rotel RB-1090 amps rated at 380w/ch into a 8 ohm load and 760w/ch into 4 ohm load used to drive the pair of Polk SDA SRS 1.2's in a double amp configuration. One of the 2 amps left channel drives the left speaker upper frequencies and the right channel drives the lower frequencies, same configuration for the right speaker, that's 1520w into a 4 ohm load driving each speaker. The base came alive with the extra wattage, so much so I powered down the Velodyne FSR-18 subwoofer.
Polk Audio SRS-1.2
These speakers are fantastic! Great musical detail & imaging, ultra smooth midrange and strong, clear, and crisp high's. I never heard lows with such detail.
HD Theater Media PC SiverStone / ASUS MB A8N32-SLI
HD Theater Media PC is built using a SilverStone case to match my audio gear look. The HD Theater Media PC is build with a ASUS MB A8N32-SLI mother board utilizing AMD 4400 64 bit CPU, BFG Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTX-OC SLI video card with 768 MB of on board memory and dual-link HDMI, REM DIGI9636/52 24bit / 96 kHz digital PCI audio card with Optical in/out, Silencer PC Power & Cooling 750w power supply, SSD 128GB Solid State Drive and to keep the unit dead quite it's water cooled using Coolance water blocks on all components with two Zalman static heat exchangers. Windows Vista 64 OS is used to run the PC with both an RF keyboard and IR remote for interfacing man & machine and a interral network with a High spead internet link to the outside world.

APC Smart UPS 1500w
The audio gear and Sammy widescreen DLP are protected from utility power spikes and transients by two blade server type APC smart UPS 1500w units. The UPS units are used throughout the high tech critical computer server environments and produce a true sine wave output to the load. The UPS units can delivering clean uninterrupted power to a 1500w load for up to 5 minutes enough time to safely shut down the gear and Sammy widescreen DLP.
Wow, some real power driving some big speakers. Must really give you a wall of sound. Goes nicely with your dream of a TV. Happy listening and viewing.

I just got the second Rotel RB-1090 that I needed to double amp the speakers with enough power to make them work like they should, I'll be posting Pic's of the new system.
The RB-1090's are rated at 380w/ch into 8 ohms and 760w/ch into 4 ohms. The Rotel RB-1095 I was using in a double amp configuration only had 200w/ch and I know those Polk's can take up to a 1000w, their like thoroughbreds waiting to be let out of the stable, just need a bit more wattage.
After I let the cabling and amps break in for about two weeks the low end is really coming alive, I've powered down the Velodyne FSR-18, the base is that good.
I was reading Bryston makes a great amp for the money and just happened to find a great deal on a pair of Brystons 7B-ST's, looking for another pair to see how the Polk's sound being driven by them.
My next step is to get up enough courage to drop big $$$$$ on Krell FOB-600cx, Pass Lab X-600, Mark Levinson No-333 , Theta Citadel's, definitely can't afford MBL's.
What speakers are you using and what's driving your system now?
Nice system! I used Polk 2.3tl's for several years and still have them though they are not in use. How do you like your 1.2's? I never had mine in a home theater system. Nice job.
