Congrats on your Krell 750mcx!!  Have you done a re-cap service yet?

If possible, move the rack to another place in the room so you can have both Dunlavy SC-V measuring the same distance from the side walls. This should improve the imaging. I also suggest that you move the speakers further into the room and away from the front wall.

The Krell KCT is the best preamp I have heard so far in my system. For my system and musical preferences it is better than VTL 7.5 series 3, Dartzeel 18NS.

yes,still using the KCT,I wish I could afford the 750mcx,450mcx or 650m in the budget.Selling the KPS28c to move to the Evo 505,then saving for the Evo 202 or 222.Using Nordost and Transparent CAST,and liking them!

I upgraded from 700cx to 750mcx monos and it was a clear improvement.

Do you still use the KCT? Have you tried the Evo 2 or 202? or VTL 7.5 series 3?
