Description

Hi, welcome to my system page !

Recently i added tidal sunray to my system replacing my last speaker, i'm very satisfied with it for now, i will update a little at a time.

next plan:

buy a good digital cable (AES/EBU)

buy a power filter/conditioner

monoblock/bi-amp

simple room acoustics

buy a rack

live happily ever after :D

as i still looking for improvement, feel free to give me suggestion based on your experiences.

Regards,

@Lapierre : Thank you! i often read on the net and saw other people's system, but maybe after i rearrange my room, i'll try some simple room acoustics first

@Microstrip: what you said resemble what my friend told me these past few days, he even bother to inform me that there are some at a'gon, since there's no new stock available at my country,
but i have doubts to bring them here, how to safely transport them and the customs : they're extremely aggressive especially at holiday season :(

maybe if there's preamp that are on-par with ref40, i'll try to listen to it, tube or SS are fine.

Great and logically matched system. Although I do not have experience with the Tidal speakers, I feel that this system deserves an Anniversary REF40 - believe me it is a large jump from the REF5 and a good companion to the REF150.

Sweet system.

Have you researched room treatments?

Uhmm.. Somehow I got this hunch that the nice simplicity here will soon turn into a somewhat ultra sophisticated complication.. :)) But one that will reward immensely nonetheless!

@Bvdiman: after i read again about what you said, it seems i misunderstood the meaning...

LPX maybe next year, he said that adding LPX make a huge leap in sound, and he promised to illustrate how can it be so.

actually i'm curious about how wilson maxx3/sasha sound, i've heard the sophia, but i can't say that i liked it.

Cheers!

Simple elegance...absolutely gorgeous.

A couple of plants might be a nice addition. :)

A great example of simplicity(few components) with ultra sophistication(component selection)It must sound wonderful. Very nice!

@Lloydelee21, thank you very much :D

@Bvdiman, yes this combo sounds great, but i also felt that the rest can't push the speaker to its full potential, you guess it right my friend hahaha...

as the title said, a little of this, a little of that... maybe a little too much :))
but if isn't because of how you describe it, maybe i wouldn't jump to this bandwagon... i really glad i did :D

i really look up to meeting you ( bener ga ini inggrisnya :D )

ojdeteos

Well done!
My brother has similar set up to yours driving the Sasha (w/CD8). I must say that his combo too sounded great--but not in a Tidal way. Oh well.. you should've already found that out by now.

So, I see soon an LPX and two more sets of REF150s coming your way? ;p That's one good and reasonably priced option I think. And/or maybe, full Tidal suite being another.

Yeaah right sure.."A little at a time"? From previous speaker to the Sunray, if it was me, I'd have this renamed as "A little too much at times" instead! LoL ;))

Let's arrange to meet up soon. In the meantime, enjoy! I'm sure it's gonna be one long enjoyable journey for you.
