Nice table. Got a great deal on it. Nice upgrade from the Dual 606 I was using before.
Audio Research SP-6a
Bought broken for $300, and completely restored myself. Cleaned up very nicely, and a complete recap. Modified to resemble the 6b circuit.
McIntosh MR-71
Got this at a yard sale from some rude old fart for $5. I was very happy to rip her off. Perfect condition, wooden case included!
Revox A-77
Bought used back in 1995 when I was 15. Fully restored/recapped. 1/2 track and 1/4 track heads.
Ampex 440
An original 1967 Ampex 440A (it doesn't say A because there wasn't a B or C yet). The play button is white, not blue. Serial number is 1014. I think this might have been the 14th one made. Got it broken, and completely restored it. New play head, replapped the others. Complete recap. 9Hz-25Khz at 15 IPS!
ZYX R-100H
The .48 mV version. Nice smooth MC.
Sony PCM-601esD
A D/A and A/D. One of the best converters from 1984. It's how CDs were mastered back in the day. It can store digital data on BetaMax tapes as video dots the represent 0s and 1s. Can also convert outside digital sources back to analog. Great for old digital standards. 14 or 16 bit, 44.056KHz or 44.1KHz sample rate, with or without emphasis. Used as my CD D/A until I got my Benchmark.
Benchmark DAC1
I don't think you can get a better converter for the price anywhere. Made in America, and of fine build quality. Can handle any PCM signal I give it. Tried a 14 bit, 44.056HKz PCM BetaMax tape with emphasis, and it decoded like a pro.
