Description

After 64 years, I have found my holy grail.  I can trick myself into believing that I am sitting in row 6 center of a concert hall (with a little bit of added treble), listening to music played at fffff at 105db with acceptable distortion.

TV is 82 inches diagonally & I reassure you the width of the front (not back) wall IS 19.5 ft.

Dtcchan,

I must tell you that having had both, the 700cx is much better than the 600c. Certainly worth the upgrade.

Well done!

Great overall component selection. Really appreciate the Krell amps bi-amped with dedicated lines with the Dunleavy loudspeakers. Great move.

What's next on the HiFi roadmap?

Fortunate to have naturally good acoustics in living room (L28’xW19.5’xH10’)

I was surprised to see those dimensions. That back wall does not look like it is 20 feet wide. Your TV screen must be wider than it appears.

Very nice setup. You must think highly of the Oppo to have it as the front end for such a classy amp and speaker combination.

Have not thought of upgrading to 700cx. Quite happy with the 600c. Someday?

Hello,

I see we have similar tast in speakers and amps. Did you upgrade your two FPB-600c to 700cx?

Hi, Goober:

Thanx for those kind words. The DSPeaker Dual Core is inserted between the preamp & power amp. It is extremely effective. Highly recommended.

dtcchan

VERY nice system -- and nice artwork, too! I could see getting lost in that system.

Could I ask about your experience with the DSPeaker Dual Core? I presume you used it to equalize the lowest frequency output of your speakers. Was it effective? And where did you insert it in your system?

Thanks.

Dave
