The mighty Salvation deck, of course what else. Now I see. With an Ikeda cartridge it will be a terrific performer for sure. Very interesting because you would be the first to use that legendary cart brand with Salvation ?
I´m still very happy with my good old Ultra from the 80´s :)
I wonder what your TT is and ... how your FR MC 202 is compared to other MC´s you got.
The Ultra is the most dynamic & refined of them all. F-14 Ruby/LC comes very close behind, nearly as refined but can´t match the superiority of Ultra´s in dynamics. The AT-ART9 MC is very promising, still a bit raw in the most difficult passages.
I run a Fidelity Research MC 202 on my Trans-Fi. Having a Zu Denon 103 rodded up with a new stylus [clumsy me] can't wait to get it back. Let us know how those carts are coming, your impressions etc.
