    • AES Sixpac
Cary/AES Six pac mono blocks. I dig them and they are actually quite powerful at 50 watts pc into 8 ohms. They seem to drive the KEFs very well.
    • Rega DAC
Good dac that has served me well. I'm quite happy with it.
    • KEF 104/3
Picked these up for a great price here on A gon, I like them but I feel they are currently the weak link. Any suggestions would be great, im considering something from zu or maybe even focal aria 936 or maybe Elac Fs407...Can't really decide.
    • PrimaLuna ProLogue 3
I wish it had a remote but otherwise i'm loving this pre amp, and it matches the AES's very well :)
    • Cambridge Audio 651p
    • BDI Corridor 8173 Media Stand
    • Oppo Digital 103
    great blu ray/ cd player
    • Pro-Ject Debut Carbon
    TT
    • Panamax MR-5100

Nice system- Chris Allen.
I like your wall Art as well.

Even upgrading to some basic Audioquest or Kimber cables and just a minimal power cord upgrade (from stock cables) would be dramatic on that system.

I use to have a room very similar. The bass traps will help, look into some diffusers and if possible a trap on the ceiling (cloud mount ) I am personnally a gik fan take some pics and send it to them they will mellow that brightness down..
Looks nice, also i didn't seem to hear much difference in cables till i started running az just my two cents ..

Hey guys Thanks for the feedback. Room still feels a bit bright to me, I got the big old bass traps but I think it needs a little more work. I'll look into the running springs unit's haven't heard of them.

As for the interconnects I'm using all monster stuff. I was never really able to find a big difference between them. They're well insulated with good connectors so I'm happy with them.  Power cords are also stock. Trying to refine the system before i put too much money into cables.

Wish I had a room like that... with the angled ceilings... very nice.  If you were to swap that Panamax power unit with a Running Springs unit, your jaw would drop.

Hi Chris,

Very Nice System and setup. What interconnects and Power mains are you using?
