Hey very nice setup! How is the bass with the hansens?

Hi Cappuccino. I did not try any other cables. These cables are from the previous system. In that system I had Audio Magic Illusion, 1st gen SR and Tara (don't remember the model). SR Tesla, in that system, was considerably better.

The starting point guidance from Hansen for Prince is 2ft away from side walls and 2ft from the back (front ?) wall. I'm more like 2.5ft from the back - but, still did not finalize. If you are looking into a different model, call Hansen direct (that is what I did before purchase). Mr. Hansen (himself) was very helpful.

hmmmm....thats not too bad at all. The space (if it can be called that) I will be moving into is 10x10. Do the Hansens need to be away from walls for best performance?

Wrong question - it should be 'how small is the room' :)

It is 12x14 (roughly).

It's easily the best I've owned (Original VR-4, N802, RevelSalon). What it does to singing voices are uncanny - both male & female. I was afraid it would overload my small room, but, it does not. Needless to say, everything is still breaking-in and my room still needs a lot of work.

System edited: Total downsizing. Virtually everything is replaced. Still breaking in all. Room needs a lot of work as well.

Sorry - I did not watch this for a while. Linnie, yes, they are CD racks. I listen mostly to jazz & classical. Tabl & Grr - I agree, these racks are pretty bad. I have (had) to take it apart to clean the equipment. That said, above system is no more. All (except the rack - irony huh? ) are gone. Moved to a new (smaller) room, got new speakers, waiting for electronics. Will update the page and the picture as soon as I can install them.
