Description

I recently moved to a bigger space and upgraded some of the components. The Mytek Brooklyn DAC replaces the RedGum DAC. Bluesound Node 2 replaces the Macbook, using the Node is way more convenient and im listening more because its much easier and faster to get the music going, no booting up time on the Node like there was from the laptop. I upgraded the IC from the DAC to the integrated from a Tara labs Prism to the Anti Cables Level 2 Balanced, the balanced IC got rid of the slight hum i was experiencing, black is VERY black now. I got found a matching B&W CM Center S2 for cinema sound (Harmon receiver) and use the Pre out for the L/R mains to be powered by the Classe, now using the Tara IC for that connection. I have not put up the Auralex panels since moving,im toying with the idea of putting up proper acoustic treatment but since this is a rental i dont want to spend the coin only to tear it down within a year or two. The room is 9 ft wider, it Sounds very good, better than the smaller 19 x12 room. I can get the speakers moving without making my ears bleed and the system seems to like the extra push.

Sweet set-up, redmosessc. Love the Classe' CAP-150 and I'm a big Bowers and Wilkins fan.

Outstanding view from your window as well.

Cheers,

Scott
