Great player for SACD and HDCD. Unfortunately it has major problems with the laser.  Also, NAD has discontinued support for the player since it is about 9 years old.  I found a guy in L.A. that finally fixed the problem. I recommend Henry Radio for this repair.  I like players that can play these two formats, that is why I bought the Oppo.

Decided to give Audio Research a try when a seller on Audiogon decided to play me off another bidder.  The guy was selling a Pass phono pre amp and asked $2,500.  I said no problem. I figured that is what he is asking that must be his price.  A week goes by and he wanted me to counter offer. I told him you should have asked for more in the first place. I went some place else.  Don't play games.

I bought a Gyrodec on EBay and the last owner had his son ship it.  Needless to say it arrived in broken pieces. I got most of my money back and I rebuilt it to a Gyro SE.  The only original part is the metal frame.

These cables are custom made by Paul Laudati.  Solid core silver.  I highly recommend them.  The price is the best deal on speaker cables.  They sound great.
