I am looking for ways to go on the speaker system. I am unsure as to whether to go all Proac ( I do love the 2's) or to go with a 5 speaker surround. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
The ideal case is having two separate systems one for music and another for the movie. Proacs are great and musical, but you do not need to hear music from surrounds -- only crashes, steps and gunshots. My friend bought some rear channels from RadioShack and fixed them behind the couch having KEF Reference 3 speakers as his main channels.
