Your equipment stand looks very functional while being compact. Can you give me some information about it please.

Ahendler,
I read on another forum that you use 40 watt triode VTL amps to drive your maggies. What do these lower power amps do that`s superior to your higher power amps? This is interesting given the accepted wisdom in regard to amp/maggie advice for more power the better approach. What caused you to even attempt this switch?

What do you think about xa5400es? should everyone sell and get this?

Great set-up, I wondering how big the room is, how far apart is speakers?

There is much more resolution which makes a lot of things better especially micro and macro dynamics. Also the ribbon makes the top end just thrilling. I love the sound of massed strings and of course female vocals. Both are very good on the 1.6's but just out of this world on the 3.6's. I have been listening to them for hours on end and just can't seem to walk away from them. The 1.6's are great speakers. The 3.6's are the best I have ever heard

Very nice set-up. Love the maggies, hard to beat at any price. I have the 1.6's and was wondering what you feel were the largest improvements going to the 3.6's?

Speaker cables are Goetz alphacore AG-1. This is a siver flat cable. I have tried many speaker cables over the years and always go back to the Goetz
pre to amp is also Goetz. Don't remember the type
Cd to pre is Crystal cable
Phone is Cardas

Very nice looking system, I'm sure it must sound great also.
What cables are you using?
