Well...a completely new analog front end certainly deserves an update. The Basis Debut, Basis Vector, Benz LP, Walker rig is a MAJOR step up from my full blown AND tweaked LP12. Still breaking in the cartridge and the tonearm cable, but it is already in another league. Th Symposium shleves are due in a week, as is the Clearoudio Matrix. The Marantz amps will eventually power a pair of Tact subwoofers, expected end Novemeber....and THAT will be the last upgrade until a true universal transport comes along. In a year or so, I might looke for an upgrade to the Guarneri's, but I think they will be very hard to beat for the money....

Sirlee - It's outstanding. The Kharma importer (GTT) is now carrying the Kubala line....The speaker cables are very tough to beat for the $$. I'd love to try their IC's..but those are comparatively a lot more $$....so will need to wait a bit...I liked the Kubala's better than AQ Dragon SE and Nordost Valhalla in my system with the Kharmas's. They add just the right amount of body in the mids...
Dennis - My apologies for "ignoring" your question. Had not checked the thread for months. Anyway, the biggest thing the EP do for my sound was keep it coming. I live in Venezuela wehre power brown outs and surges are common. I was going thur countless fuses and tubes on my CJ amps every month. The EP gives me steady volts, and keeps the gear running. I still plug all my stuff except the subs into a Marigo power conditioner and use Bybee AC filters on ALL the power cords, and use Ultimate Outlets on the amps as well for good measure....so my power is super clean and well scrubbed. The Top Gun HCFI cords are not slouches either when it comes to dropping background noise to nothing and giving you plenty of dynamics and bottom end extension with no glare. Net for me the EP is a must have component, but I've way too many other power filters in the system to really asses it on its own...and am way to lazy to unplug everything and try to start from zero!
Intresting system. I have the Muse 9 sign at its an absolut killer CDP and even better on redbook CD than Wadia 860x that I have tried in my system. A truly underrated CDP! I also have the very rare (in Scandinavia) Audio Artistry Dvorak speakers that is an even more underrated product and IMHO better than SF Amatis when used by really high end amps and cables.
