I purchased the turntable used off A-Gon, sounds terrific. Will probably upgrade the turntable to a MkIV and upgrade the cartridge. I really like the ET-2 tonearm.
The Odyssey monblocks are mostly broken in now and sound fantastic.
All of the cable is now Groneberg Quattro.
Ohm I speakers are 23 years old and still unbeatable at a reasonable price point.
Still need a new cabinet, the monoblocks are too long for the one I have. Probably will commision a furniture maker to build an oak or maple cabinet.
Nice sytem! I owned a Stratos monos and Groneberg/TS premium interconnects and cords for almost two years. I will recommend to try Virtual Dynamics P2 power cords on them and have the amp sitting on audio points. These two tweaks worked for me when I have the amps powering my Martin Logan Ascents.
Also, you might want to experiment on a 22 ga. copper solid core interconnects from preamp to amp.
System edited: Finally got the turntable in the system. Thinking about a different cartrige for the ET-2. Something a little "warmer" than the AQ-B200. Any ideas would be appreciated.
How do you like your Herbie's Tenderfeet? Have you compared them to Vibrapods or any other tweaks? I've been looking at them. You have a nice system. Good listening, Steven
