The Podiums brought a noticeable focus and solidity to the presentation. Voices and instruments have a little more air between them. Transients are a tad cleaner. Once I heard them I knew they weren’t going anywhere.

Hi,

I have the 8C's as well and am considering a support system for them.  Can you comment on the effect the podiums have had with the 8C's?

Thanks

Thanks. Looking to make some changes here soon. I've got a Decware Zen 25th Anniversary and a pair of Atma Sphere Class D mono blocks on order. Time for a shoot out between tubes and SS. I'm also thinking of building my own power cables and XLR cables.

Look like you live somewhere in the mountains. I'm in Denver.

This is a great room, Zoso.  Simple and elegant.

It's time to do some of what the salesmen call Anchoring.  Show her my system (and some other big ones,) let her gasp, and in agreement say, "That guy is crazy.  Too many speakers.  I can't imagine how much his wife has to suffer over that.  *I* only want a system that's like half that size."

Suddenly, in context, you're a very reasonable person.

Thanks jond. It took some begging and pleading to get these speakers into my system. My wife thinks they're ugly and too big for our listening room. I actually came down from the larger Pendragons to appease her. Tekton's customer service has been... disappointing. After waiting three months for the grilles to arrive they were the wrong size. Alas, we're looking for a new place to live and I'll have to reevaluate the entire setup after the move.

Nice system and the white screams and white Tektons complement each other nicely/

Can't figure out how to pm you but my most recently posted system is "Vintagey Bits" - check it out.  And I need to repost again due to even more changes including tube pre and thick wool rug as you suggested!   Thanks for the info on the panels and yes the granite is nice too!  Welcome to Audiogon!

btw again love the simplicity of your set-up.

Funny, this room was “the listening room” before I set up my stereo system in it. I begin each day sitting in meditation for 30-45 minutes in front of the Mandala (screen). I now have a dual relationship to this room, as I spend time everyday listening deeply into the music by night and deep listening to the silence in the morning.

I purchased the screen from Arhaus furniture. The slab of blue granite is hard to see in the photo but it’s gorgeous.

Thank you for the compliment. I saw your set up (very nice) and left some comments. Happy listening.

Gorgeous!  Simple and elegant and bet it sounds excellent.  Love it all but the screen takes the cake, where'd you find it?
