Edwardtu: I recently heard about the Gutwire "clef" series power cords. What is your impression of them and what improvements did you hear in your system? Are they worth the money in performance over stock power cords?
The TL-1 is one of the best transports I have ever heard. It seems to combine smoothness with detail in a way that I have not heard from any other transports except CEC. The BelCanto dac should be an excellent match for the TL-1. I have not heard Plinius stuff, so can't comment on the electronics to speaker match. The Sonus though, are awesome speakers in my opinion, and I know they like POWER. I would think the Plinius 250 should be handling them quite nicely. Getting back to the digital, I have had excellent results with Black Diamond tweaks on both transports and DACs.
