Rearranged and added to this system recently. The first setup was kind of thrown together, but as I have upgraded my main system, some of the orphans have now found a new home. I have an old small bungalow home, so the bedrooms are small, thus getting this setup to fit/work was a bit of a challenge. I am absolutely against the TV (or anything) being between the speakers in my main system, but the use here is different, mostly for HT, thus it works. I added my old (back-up) B&K 3030 amp, Parasound Zpre3 preamp, WIIM Mini streamer, PS Audio DAC, & iFi Micro iTube2 to this system, so now I have a decent 2 channel option, albeit only via Tidal/streaming. Sounds pretty good, even with the dang TV between the Vandy 1C’s. That said, I watched a performance of the Berlin Philharmonic via The Digital Concert Hall, and am pretty impressed with the quality overall with the surround setup. It really works pretty well, and I am pleased vs. my previous setup.
