Thanks…I love the Lsa Warp 1 Class D. It’s a very under rated amp. Extremely good bass and sounds great in many ways. Does not sound like a SS amp to me with the Cab. Runs cool. Bought it at a discount to use while I wait for my Decware amp to be built. It’s a keeper. As far as gain, It has toggle switches on the inside board to adjust as needed. Comes set at 6db but has 0, 14 and 20. The 6 was too low for the Cab and had a slight buzz so I bumped it up to 14 while setting the Cab gain to low and no more buzz and the amp has plenty of gain to drive my speakers well. Atma-sphere class D mono’s would be the ticket and they are well priced for what you get but at a price.
Hi I see you have the Cabernet running into a LSA Warp 1power amp.
I have the same pre amp, only the dual version with the 300b as an alternative output.
How do you like your power amp ? Is it a Can amp? I am not familiar with this amp, so I am a bit curious.
How is the gain match between the amps ?
Do you hear any hiss from the pre ?
The power amp I use is the class A Belles SA 30, it sounds sublime but the gain is a bit of a mismatch although it works, on the 300b output I can turn the gain down, which works great, but with the Belles it can get too cozy sometimes, the 6SN7 is a bit less romantic and has more drive for more rhythmic music, I love to change between outputs as the 300b can sound wonderful with voices and small assembly Jazz or Classical.
The Belles gets warm which has me thinking about maybe have a extra power amp, maybe trying a class D power amp In the future, wished the Atma-Spere ones were cheaper as they are supposed to sound a bit like tubes.
