*RARE* AKAI CR-83D 8-Track Stereo Cartridge Deck Player/Recorder - Dust-Free Head

This 8-Track deck is in excellent condition as shown in the photos. There is a tiny chip in the wood cover on the back left side lower corner, viewable in the photos.

All functions were tested and all but the tape counter are working very well. The pad that moves the tape counter needs to be serviced/tightened so that the counter can work properly again.

The drive belt will also need to be replaced as it was old and unfortunately split after I had done testing of the deck, while I was using the fast-forward function to get to the beginning of the tape in there.

Included with the tape deck are the two sets of RCA connector cords, operator's manual, and the deck's original box. The box is in poor condition, so I will include an additional sturdy box to house the tape deck for shipping. I will also pack the unit in bubble wrap and foam to protect it during transport to the buyer.
