Description

I am a musician. Listening is work.

Except, I like it. Now how is that for a life.

I listen very much to the same things, as I do when listening to bows (have given mostly up on fiddles, as mine is fantastic, and anything else will be a side move), that is, structure, body, fluidity, grain etc. YOu can invent everyday a new aspect of listening. But it would not mean very much writing it down here, since you would NOT know what i mean - Just like I had to find a commong language with my violinmaker setting up my fiddle.

    • BOW Technologies ZZ-8
An incredible mix of performance and elegance, upgraded at some stage, and together with my TT Rock elite a real sight..
    • Revox B-760
warum nur in die ferne schweifen, (..revox liegt so nah)
    • cardas changed gr to clear. for the better.
sometimes i use Sven Boenickes hand wound alternatives, but the Cardas are very good, as much as I hate to say this, considering money.
    • changed from Merlin VSM MXM to Lahave Avaza. No looking back
    Point source. Great. Great!!
    • David Berning Co ZH-270
I like this as well, and it goes very well with the merlins..as it does now with the Avaza's..BUT: I've switched to the ZH230 now..Quadrature Z's in the studio show me the peak!!
    • David Berning Co ZOTL pre prototype
cannot praise it too much: I like it.
    • Lampizator 3.5/gen4
    wonderful.
    • RWAsig 30 changed to Audio Consulting MIPA30
As good as the red wine was: AC is up there with the very best I know. (David Berning Quadrature Z comes to mind, but with less power..)
    • Pioneer CT-95
CT-95 was the real deal, and maybe even a dragon killer, except nobody stayed round to watch, what an irony.
but i still keep it, don't know why..
