Description

Budget-minded HT rig.

Plays movies just fine. The old 3-way speakers provide quite a bit of bass - enough to enjoy the movie.

Video quality of the DVD player is superb. However, it being an older unit, it does not play some of the newer movies (esp. several of those Bollywood movies! :-)).

Everything is up for upgrades.......maybe when something breaks &/or when the children get older & demand a better HT system! :-)

Thats not it. I haven't been exposed to your gear so can't comment.

Incidentaly I don't have any of the gear in those mags as I'm of modest means. I have a bargain basement kit myself. I swapped around 'til I have good sustem synergy. That is one thing you could do. Find the weakness and improve them.

How can I comment on what I don't know. Try to be more specific if you can. I did ask about your interconnects, but you blew me off. Sorry I rubbed you wrong. It is not my intension.

It is hard to comment on your system since it is older and not perticularily special.

I was intrigued with your use of the very good Kimber Hero interconnects. And I'm interested in your opinion on the basic XLO/Pro speaker wire. I have been thinking about giving this wire a try so would you be so kind to comment on it for me?
