Thanks :) I am truly enjoying it!

Maybe in a couple of years a Wolf von Langa "Son"...they sounded absolutely stunning in München this year.

Otherwise mostly done.

All I will say is - you have set up a great looking room. I am sure it sounds as good or maybe better. Very impressive.

Lot's of Townshend equipment into the system. I tried the supertweeter too, but the Rethm did not liked it.

I updated the acoustic too with diffusors and ceiling treatment.

Beautiful room and great gear!

Thanks!

The thing is, that the Townshend pods have an M8 screw "hole" and the stand under the Audiopax amp too. So, I just needed an M8 srew (no head) to screw them together. It is not the factory use, but works nevertheless. Just a bit of creativity :)

Thanks for your response on the differences between the two speakers/system.

Very cool application of the Townshend Seismic Isolation Bars. Did you do the modifications to fit your gear yourself or did Townshend help? ...With the short 'bars' under your main rack and the repurposed (?) base / cross-frame for the Audiopax amps? Thanks.

I tried the Townshends under the Bhaava, to my suprise it doesn't worked out. Then I put them under the electronics. Another suprise: they elevated the sound to an another level. I did not expected such a strong effect with electronics.

Thanks! It really sounds sublime.

As for the difference between Avantgarde and Rethm. I think the Rethm is better suited to my room. It hasn't got the raw power of the Avantgarde's, but it is nevertheless open, dynamic and yet very relaxed. They are a good match to the Audiopax amplifiers. I think in a bigger room the Avantgarde would better the Bhaava. Just more transparency, energy and livliness. Plus the Avantgarde's are really showing everything in the recording/system. The Bhaava is just more forgiving.

Can you comment on the differences between the Rethm and Avantgarde based system?

The front wall treatments are exceptionally well coordinated with your Art!

Wow...what a great room. Congratulation on the Rethms. They sounded great when I heard them a couple of years ago at a audio show. Your system should sound amazing.

Hi! I tried it, the first two months was actually trying to find their place/position. In my room that is the optimal distance. If they are closer the music is too congested, doesn't really breath. Further away I loose to focus.

It maybe helps, that the side walls are really have the distance (even in this position), so the speaker stands really free. How knows.

Matter of fact I am wondering every time I see Avantgarde horns close to each other how can they sound good :)

carboncopy

I'm surprised you are able to get great sound with the Nanos that far apart.  Neither mine, nor my friend's, work well if there is more than 9 feet between their inner corners.  I would suggest you try moving them closer together - you might not know what you've been missing.  Avantgarde also recommends it.  Setting the speakers up in the room correctly is much more important than room treatments, in my experience.  Good luck!

Hi,

they are in a different league really... Much, much more bass (quality and quantity), better human voice, dynamic...the only area where the Quad is probably better: speed.

carboncopy

Carboncopy,
Congratulations on the new acquisition. How did the Audio Note improve your listening experience?

You are welcome.
That is quite some distance between the speakers.
Mine are 4 foot from back wall and about 7 foot apart.

Good luck in your cabling project :-)
