I have been in this pursuit for nearly 35 years. Turned 50 last year and thought to myself if I don't get my dream system now I never will. Starting last August have revamped the entire system and am really proud of the sound. Its no mean feat to cobble together an all tube/electrostatic system in my native country, India, given the limited availability of brands.The latest entrant is a VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine.Have gone vinyl and loving every minute !

Rests under the Gyro. The TT feet and motor housing all rest on HRS Nimbus spacers and couplers. Am using HRS dampening plates on top of all components. Do they work? No idea coz am a sucker for snake oil and assorted mumbo jumbo. Darn expensive tweak.
Thanks for your kind words Sunnyboy and the info on your outstanding Quads! The ones I heard yesterday were driven by solid state Conrad Johnson preamp and amp. They were cranked pretty loud but I was in a smallish room listening in nearfield. I am definitely interested and will thoroughly check them out but like you I need a little loud rock....like Dire Straits "Telegraph Road"....Oh Man!
