Description

It took me a few years to put this together from a local thrift store and used stuff from a stereo place. Weak points are the speaker cables and the room. I might move my Rotel cd player in here from the home theater in the living room. Rarely used there. I use the Reference 20 mostly as a digital preamp. Thinking also of getting a tube buffer. Because of the small room I only sit 5 feet from the speakers. If I ever get to move this to a bigger room, there will probably be more changes.

System edited: Added speaker stands so am now checking out Optimus pro lx5's and B&W Solids. One of these will go to my classroom system. Probably need to refurbish the maggies as high frequencies are way down. Also added the Grant Fidelity TubeDAC-09 on my desk for itunes, etc.

System edited: I alternate between the Maggies and the Missions. The Missions sound better in the room so I don't have to use the equalizer and they sound better for tv dialogue. The Type 4's have really helped smooth out the sound. I' considering getting stands and a speaker switcher.
