A work in progress..but getting there! I have a tough room with floor to ceiling glass on the front wall and one side wall of a 22x20 space. Floors are hardwood over cement slab so my space is very live acoustically with a fair amount of slap echo. To mitigate this I have setup as a somewhat near field listening position with the speakers well away from sidewalls. The revels and sub have made a huge difference in the sound from the B&W 805s I was using.
Thanks Jax. It is a great space. Leaves a bit to be desired acoustically what with all the reflective surfaces but I still manage to wring some music of it all.
nice view, where is that? I have revel f32s also, but as a warning if you like how they were voiced the f52 might be the best option for you, as the ultima line is not as warm sounding as the performa line. I have heard that revel is about to come out with a replacement for the f52, I am really looking forward to hearing it.
Hey thanks I will. I am driving back from Florida right now but I will get some photos up soon. Future plans might include upgrading to The ARC Reference pre/amp combo and speakers to Revel Studio 2. Also would like to add another Fathom F110. I think I've found the brands I like, now I just want to move up their product lines!
