The DD40 is really nice, for it's price anyway!
I have a Sumiko Blackbird on it, and it seems to be a very nice and cost effective solution. Very satisfying!
Since I have the DD40, I listen much more to vinyl!
Interstingly, my records I brought with me from Germany, are much better, quality wise, then what I buy now. I am sure, you have the same finding, if you compare your old records with recently purchased ones.
So, in the end, I would say, I you have a chance to grab a DD40 in good shape, for a good price, get it!
