Like you, I also have managed to wait till the age of 50 to finally get the "good stuff."

Well, maybe, when we were 20, we didn't have the patience (or taste) to enjoy it.

Are you pleased with results of SR Des. Ref. on the Wadia? Have you tried any other power cables. Have you tried the SR Master Coupler the cd? Any differences? Looks like a very nice system!

Very nicely done! The simpler the better. I run my Accuphase DP75 directly into a Pass X350. The only time I use a preamp is for for phono playback.

I imagine that it would be both difficult and impractical to improve upon your setup. I've still got a way to go wrt room treatments. Have you experimented with anything like the Tube Traps?

Simple is great. Nice setup. How do you like the Wadia with the Krell amp? I am searching for a new cdp for my setup, interested to hear you opinion.

Way to go! Simple is good. Your choices of amp,speaker and cd are great. My take on simple is ML37/cheap DAC direct to Art Audio SymphonyII 300B mono amps/with volume controls hooked up to Lamhorn single driver/no crossover Lowther type speakers. There are four power cords and 5 wires in my system- you have one less wire(digital cord)-I must have done something wrong?

Very nice system. I’m also running an 861 direct to the amp but use 1 dedicated line also with a FIM outlet. My 861 has been upgraded by Steve Huntley at Great Northern Sound to his statement level. Although the upgrade costs around $3,300, I think you will be amazed at how much better the Wadia can get. Happy listenig.
