Updated and Upgraded. Custom made plinth of Phenolic and aluminum. This is probably one of the best turntables in the world now! I have heard a lot, but I have heard few better!
TriPlanar VII

Sistrum SP-1 (?)
I bought five shelves with the solid top for the Sota Cosmos table. This is a great rack. If a person spent twice the money they might be able to get something better, but is it twice as good? The picture is just the top shelf. http://starsound.biz/multiplatforms.HTML gives more info.
Purist Venustus PCs (2)
On the Sota power supply and the Klyne power supply.
Exact Power EP15A
I don't know what this thing is doing, but it sure does it better than the Tice Power Block...
Cio52, I don't really have much interest in a subwoofer. Integrating them into the system correctly is usually more trouble than it's worth. The times I have heard systems with a sub they didn't work well... jmo
Haven't read all the posts for your system and I don't know the specs for your speakers, but how do you feel about boosting your low freqency extension with a subwoofer or two? BTW I get 92db at the listening position using 35 watts with 86db/1watt/1mtr speakers and thats all I can take for even short periods. Happy listening.
Would like to hear your comments about the StrainGauge cartridge. I am putting an analog front end together and I am looking for a cartridge. TriPlanar arm, Oracle Mk VI. Thank you.
I didn't know you were still on AudiogoN! Nice to hear from you... My son (who used to work for me) liked you user name so much he asked me to put him on the schedule as: Slappy.
I was just curius. I have never had an issue with the amps losing steam before I ran out of interest in going louder, but I have to admit that I don't listen as loud as I used to listen.
My room is not real big, but it's not small either. I have been consistently impressed with the Caravelles though.
I thought that perhaps 60wpc amps on 89dB speakers might cause the speakers to run out of steam at louder volumes...but it depends on room size and listening volume, and since in your opinion there's no issue, then my comment is moot.
Enjoy the system. As I previously wrote, it looks terrific.
Nrchy, that's a beauty of a system! I'm a bit surprised that the Atma-Sphere M60 amps produce enough volume on the Caravelle speakers, but I trust your sensibilities.
Hello Nate,I noticed you have two diff stands for the Caravelles, which are you using? I have the speaker stands that are pictured on the website that use 3 cones(per speaker) with audiopoints on top and bottom .They do seem to work very well sound wise,,but are very unstable on my bouncy wooden floors.I have them sitting on top of an old pair of speakers for the time being. What are your thoughts on stands?Ray
