This is my dream system, A system that begin at 1999 with the buying of the ML 335 power amplifier. The system as evolving piece by piece, with a carefull study and listening of the equipment.
All the orientation was to buy good stuff, trying not to make constant changes, or loosing money in impulse upgrades. I begin for the expensive stuff from Mark Levinson, Revel, and now going for the sources,I like vinyl, I always like so my first choice was in turntable instead of the Cd, this is my 4º turntable. I'm still not finish, the evolution goes on, I knew I need severall things the search continues, the ASR Basis Exclusive phono stage is the ultimate buying, I espect this piece in Fev., but only arrive in April, now I installed and the burn process beguin.
In 2006, I spend a lot in audio equipment, and make severall changes, 2007 I don´t know, but the system go to improve, and I hope good things, and goods sounds!
My new house is not ready yet, I projected there a dedicated room of 38 m2 for the job. In the future I espect to mount a A/V combination stuff for my listenings and movies recreation. But now I'm looking for the analog rig and try to improve that at the best level.
News, the treatment room as almost complete. Missing the front Wall, I go for Artnovion, a portuguese specialist, and a decente carpet to the floor. I try to upload some new photos.

In this days I work again in the rooom, the side walls, painted in grey instead of white, and prepare new changes in the floor near the front wall, to extend the black image to the stands, new diffusor panells in front wall and some minor changes, lights,and others. I wait too for good news abult my ML 356, after the problem he have.
Hi unfortunely the g&p áudio finish the activity and don't built the stands however is possible to get one . If you want one please Tell me maybe i can find one for you.
However my other 436 have a problem too, it seems that I have to replaced the same thing, well the 436 is in the technician but I suspect the same problem, than the other one. Now I wait.
Problem foud, there is a board , she must be substitute. The problem is that I have to request the board at Madrigal USA, and costs more than 1000dolars.
I have a problem with one of 436 monoblock MLevinson. After1 minuto audition, I hear a noise in the revel salon, and no sound after that. I contact my MLevinson dealer and send the amp for repair. I wait for good news any moment.
I'am impaciently to mount the system in the new room to do the 1ºs tests, and measure the room, to see what treatment they need, after the service done in the ceiling.

I Have to tell you that I sell the Oracle Paris, the arm, and cartrige, and bought the new set-up. Basis 1400 Signature Series, Basis RB 300, Benz-micro ebony LP.
And it was a big difference. I stay with bought some months, and then a friend ask me several times to sell her the Oracle, and I sell it.
System edited: The evolution goes on, now with the end of the break period, goos sound, good slam, and dinamisc, all improve. Very special momente to hera music in this time.
System edited: Now I bought the new Basis 1400 Signature Series,Basis RB-300 tonearm, and mount the Benz Ebony cartrige. I like this new set-up a few steps above the combo Oracle Paris, Jelco/Audioquest and Dyna 17 D2 MKII. Dynamics, faster, low bass extension, details I never heard before with the Oracle combo. The Basis 1400 is a fine performer, and a excepcional value for the price.
System edited: The analog improvments continue, now I replace my Dynavector karat 17 D2MK2 for the Benz Micro LP, a Top cartrige, that give me a most refined and delicate sound.
System edited: Wonderful sounds brought from the ASR Basis Exclusive inside, each day play better and better, this is a nice improvment to the system. Everything plays better and better.
Thanks Analogtroll Yes I install the ASR phonstage one week ago, and is getting me surprised, is a very special phono. Now my Oracle Paris is my source, is fine and beautiful, but I think in a upgrade and the Basis is my prefered turntable, and the 2500, 2800, or Gold Debut Signature are in my dreams, and are contenders of good level for the ASR Basis Exclusive. Let´s see what happen.
After one week I could say WOW, this ASR Basis Exclusive phono is fantastic, I love it, what a piece, is truly HighEnd sound, special, beautiful, and with only few hours of installation. Detailed, fast, deep bass, holografic images, music is played with emotion, and sense of easy.
Finally yesterday I receive my new rack the G&P rack, 90 kgs of pure wood, very stable and lovely rack. Then I install The ASR Basis Exclusive Phonostage with battery, and could ear some nice music. I was curious to ear the first notes, and I was very satisfied with the inicial results, what a fine phonostage, beautiful, and very nice inicial sound, controlled and very detailed, first class phono, the best I ear until now. Now I hope thet getting better, with the time. Then I´ll post the results.
Finally I hope this week install the ASR Basis Exclusive phono stage, and begin ear good things. It was a log waiting but the circunstances are the possible, in this moment. I´m try the balanced connection, ASR Basis E. phono> ML 380S, sice I believe is the best way.
In my search for racks to the system, I just bought a Spider from Finite Element with 3 shelves, and make a reservation for one rack from portuguese company G&P, (partners- João Gonçalves e Luis Pires, yes the man behind the Benz cartridge- LP ( Luis Pires), a importeur from severall top audio brands, and now a constructer of portuguese speakers the LP Olissipo, presented at 21, 22 Abril in Lisbon at the HIFISHOW, with big sucess.
System edited: After the improvement of the analog rig, my attention was going to the speaker cables, the rack, the Audio Condicionater, and my new room, my sanctuary.

I already order to Oracle the SME armboard, and a SME V gold line in my suplier, to install in my Oracle Paris, and I have a Townshend Audio Isolda tonearm cable for the SME V, to subtitue the original SME V cable, the VDHul Latest Van Den Hul MCS 150 wire.
Thanks Mike I aprecciate your sugestions, however in this moment I built a new house with a auido room dedicated, aboult 38m2, in the moment I have the system in my fathers house in a room, all surround by cork like you could see in the pictures. In my new home I espect to make a room treatment by a audio professional, to maximaze is conditions. Soon they are ready I coment here and post photos.
