I auditioned several cables before learning about the Iconoclast products. I'm relatively new to the audiophile community and until 2018 was unaware a market for cables even existed. My first speaker cable upgrade was Cardas 101and I questioned their improvement over zip cord but convinced myself they were an upgrade. After continued reading and auditions the iconoclast were attached and they had an immediate impact on sound quality and it was not subtle. None of the other cables I tried in this price range satisfied my desire for noticed improvement like these. They convincingly answered the question do cables make a difference. I was truly astonished from the first seconds of listening. That was the TPC and it brought clarity and force to the speakers like never before. At that time I was truly regretting my all sales final speaker purchase, they were half price new and I thought my first dabble into better quality equipment had burned me. Since they bi-wire I later purchased the SPTPC and use them for the upper frequencies. They sweeten the top end so well. Again I was immediately impressed with a noticeable change. The combination of these two speaker cables lifted all regret from owning these speakers and made me realize it was never the speakers fault they sounded anemic.

A regenerator, or something comparable, is an absolute must for my situation. This building is riddled with code compliant wackery. Code compliant because building codes did not exist when this old girl was built. Ground loops on catv, phone, and satellite. Knob and tube lighting mixed with receptacles. Pumps without a neutral. Real shit show. I was thrilled to learn about regenerated power and it’s audio application. Everything, including amps, are connected. What came as a surprise was connecting the amps and not pushing the regenerator into the red. It handles power needs far beyond spec. System background noise and power noise fade to black. A wonderful addition to a system.
