Salvatore Ciriolo nice system, if you want that LIVE sound, horns from Acappela, Avantgarde, Zingali, are the way to go, though they tend to be very expensive! You may want to listen to Magnapen 3.6r, Martin Logan Prodigy, Sumit. Final ESL You can find some of these speakers used on Audiogon at gtreat prices! I tend to think that the best loudspeakers are all out of the BOX designs. They just have a more open and involving sound.
I would also stick with tubes. If you ever get a chance to listen to tube pre amps or monoblocks, check out Viva. Some of the amps I've ever heard.
