Started out 10 yrs ago with a pr of Tukans, then went to activ kabers with Kairn, karik numerik, then to Unidisk sc with c6100, played the upgrade/swapping game for a while, and now I'm quite pleased with the results. The Lingo Power supply was most recent upgrade...and a great one..the lyrics that you could never really make out are now understandable. Enjoy the (havent heard that before) reaction while listening. But most of all, the Music flows, boogies, has a great tune and PRaT (I know, typical Linnie)...i myself am not a big "soundstage, image" fanatic, but what ive found out while upgrading this system is that as the tune becomes more involving, so do the other aspects in many cases, thus adding to the overall presentation in a positive manner. Yes, i have no CD player. Recently sold my Ikemi to help pay for amp and power supply upgrade (oh the sacrafices we must make), Vinyl is main prefernece by far anyhow, so ill live without a cdp as long as needed. I listen to vinyl about 2 hrs a day, and its the best 2 hrs of the day...usually an hour by myself and an hour with the wife and little one. Only Items bought new were analog gear...no way could i afford new retail prices for other gear. Bought many pieces here at agon, and im greatful to have such a great place to swap gear, and ideas, and make friends along the way. Thanks for looking, and i welcome any comments or suggestions.
