I really like the simplicity of your system and bet it sounds very nice. I prefer monitors for reference listening to music. Two way speakers just appeal to me and seem to get things "right". I also owned a MMF-5 and really enjoyed it. If I have learned anything in this hobby is that simple is usually better. My advice, install a multiple AC outlet and get rid of that power strip. You will be surprised at the difference and it is inexpensive to do. Cheers and good listening to you!
