I guess one could say that I am quick to embrace new trends in audio. I store all of my music on a computer, and my speakers employ DSP crossovers, driver correction, and digital amplifiers.
After treating my room with bass traps and absorbtion at the first reflection points (still working on the ceiling) I consider them essential to achieving good sound.
You won't find any exotic cables in my system because I think they are a racket.
The system is sounds clean, immediate, and revealing, with a massive soundstage and precise imaging. The speakers let music pass through without adding coloration.
All music is stored on an external HD using Apple Lossless compression. Controlled via a Macbook using VNC. I can play any song I want without getting off the couch.
