I got the bug when I was young from my Dad. I started off mainly interested in 2-Channel music systems a long time ago. For the past several years I have found that most of the time I mainly listen to music in the backyard by the pool so over the last few years I've focused on improving the A/V experience for family viewing. This system is in our main living area. The house has a very open floor plan. I started off with the Classic Fours Bi-amped and running through the NHT X2 crossover. I found the side firing subwoofers in the Classic Fours sent the bass into the other areas of the house. Adding the SVS sub made a significant improvement. Happy with everything for now. I had a very difficult time finding a media console that was suitable to hold everything and got the ok from the wife on aesthetics. I worked with the owner of Standout Designs and he let me customize every detail that I wanted.
Wow. Too many similarities not to comment. I have an NHT C3 Center, six NHT Classic 2’s, and an SVS SB-2000 sub (piano gloss black) I’m guessing your username means you ride a Trek 5500. I have been riding a ‘98 Trek 5200 since it was new. Maybe not separated at birth.....
