    I didn't think an ethernet cable would improve the sound much, but with cable connected to my Ether Regen input from my modem even though I am sending the output via fiber to my Lumin X1, increased the sound quality presence. Quite impressive.

I now own the Clarisys Minuet Planar speakers. I did own the Townshend's with previous speakers, and they are superior to the Gaia's. 
But unfortunately, due to my speakers size they would not work.

what are the speakers that you're using and have you thought about changing out the Gaia for the Townshend podiums which are much better from all the reviews? and also upgrading all your cables to OCC single crystal rectangular wire which neo-tech makes which is far superior to anything OFC on the market. not cheap though.

The Oppo 205 is used daily with my Netflix. etc. streaming from an Apple TV and the occasional Blu ray-4K disc. 
It is a good dac but not in the league with the Lumin X1 for music.

Hey Ozzy,
Looked carefully at your system again and I see the Oppo 205. Do you use it as a DAC or as a disc spinner? How does it compare to the Lumin as a DAC?

Man, they are really different than what I was used to. Right now, I am trying to get some quality speaker cables for the woofer end. The ones I am using need lots of break in.

My Westie is named Westy! He is now 10 years old. How old did your dog live?

Very nice and great little dog too.  We had to put our Westie down this year but she had a great life and was a fun companion.

Can't say much about team choice though.  Maybe next year after the Seahawks go all the way this year  ( a man can dream... right?)

Hey Ozzy, just bought a set of Carver 350 mono’s and wanted to do the mods on them that you recommended. Can you tell me the potentiometer value so I can order the right ones from gold point? 10k… If you don’t mind sharing where to place the bypass caps in the circuit? Pictures would be nice. I saw the pictures online that shows the point to point wiring but I couldn’t tell from looking at those.
